Our Work
Selected Engagements
Lukin Advisory works across industries and issue areas, with particular depth in matters involving Native and Tribal organizations, government, business, land, resources, energy, and community interests. The following engagements illustrate how we help clients align leadership, navigate policy, and move complex work forward.

Federal & state policy
Lukin Advisory leads a coalition of Alaska Native corporations working together on federal contracting and public policy priorities. We help company leaders establish shared positions, understand legislative, regulatory, and agency developments, and make informed decisions about coalition strategy and engagement. Our role includes leading the coalition’s work, coordinating across participating organizations and external advisors, and keeping members informed and aligned as priorities and the federal policy environment evolve.

Energy, resource development & community infrastructure
Lukin Advisory leads AFN’s Alaska Resource & Tribal Infrastructure Coordination (ARTIC) Project, bringing regional and statewide partners together to translate community priorities into policy recommendations and practical resources for energy, resource development, and infrastructure.
We guided the initiative from community engagement through delivery, drawing on 11 listening sessions across Alaska to develop a priorities framework, a policy report co-authored with key strategic partners, and a community toolkit for Tribes and Alaska Native corporations. The toolkit combines guidance on project evaluation, federal permitting, consultation, and funding with editable tools to organize community priorities, track projects, prepare for agency meetings, and draft consultation requests and public comments.
The work connects community needs with federal policy and development decisions, helping leaders advance local priorities. We are now leading stakeholder briefings and outreach to support use of the resources and build support for the project’s recommendations.

Lands & resources
Lukin Advisory works with Koniag’s Lands & Resources leadership to shape and advance subsistence fisheries, forest stewardship, and other resource development initiatives.
We help define strategy, develop implementation plans, and bring Tribal, technical, and agency partners together around shared objectives and clear responsibilities. Our role connects long-term priorities with the partnerships, funding, and decisions needed to move projects forward, supporting stewardship of ANCSA lands, sustainable resource development, and subsistence. We translate complex initiatives into clear, accessible information that supports decision-making and partner engagement.
